Community Transit Wheelchair and Alternative Medical Transportation
Richmond Lenox E.M.S. provides door-to-door transit for area residents needing transportation to and from medical appointments/procedures, banking, nutritional trips, or for work, personal business and to Detroit Metro Airport.
Rides may be scheduled up to six weeks beforehand, and whenever possible with 72 hours advance notice. Transportation is provided on a first come first serve basis. To schedule an appointment, please call 586-749-7719 or toll free 844-666-5652, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Serving residents in Armada, Chesterfield, Lenox, Memphis, New Baltimore, New Haven, Ray, Macomb Township, Richmond, and Clinton Township.
- Airport riders must be picked up 4 hours before their scheduled flight time.
- Airport riders are responsible for notifying route dispatch center of any changes in their itinerary.
- Airport service is limited to two trips daily and is provided on a first come first serve basis.
- Riders may travel with the following geographic area north to Bordman Road, east to County Line/Lake St. Clair, south to I-696 and west to Dequindre.
- Service is also provided to Ascension St. John Moross.

Free Shuttle to DTW:
Richmond Lenox EMS Community Transit, in partnership with SMART, offers free shuttle service from your home to Detroit Metro Airport (DTW). You can also schedule a ride back home after your return flight.

All vans are wheelchair accessible. Every driver is CPR and first aid certified.

Free Shopping Shuttle:
Get to where you need to go with the free Shopping Shuttle Service provided by Richmond Lenox EMS Community Transit in partnership with SMART. Schedule the door-to-door transportation service that picks you up from your home and drops you back off after running your errands.

Door-to-Doctor Free Shuttle:
Never miss a doctor's appointment with free transportation services provided by Richmond Lenox EMS Community Transit! This service is offered to seniors and people with mobility issues. They will be picked up from their homes, taken to prescheduled medical appointments and returned home.
