Dog Park Information

Pitchford Park’s 14.1-acre property is located at 49699 Romeo Plank Road just a ¼ mile north of 22 Mile Road. The park has a large and small dog area. There are also tennis and pickleball courts, picnic shelters, playscape and restrooms. The large dog park is fenced 1.4 acres, and the small dog park is fenced .3 acres. To access the dog park residents will need to register for a dog park membership. 

The dog park will be used at your own risk until we are ready to begin processing dog park memberships in January.

Dog Park Membership Costs:

Resident status is based on the address on Driver's License. Memberships expire annually on January 31st and are non-refundable. Dog park memberships are not prorated based on time of purchase. 

Key Fob:

To gain access to the dog park you will need to purchase a key fob. Each key fob is $10. Maximum of 2 per household. One key fob must be bought; however, it is good for the entire duration of dog park use. Additional key fobs may be purchased and added to your account at any time.

For maintenance issues regarding the park, and if you have questions, comments, or concerns, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (586)992-2900. Township offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm.

In compliance with Macomb County Animal Control, an incident/bite report should be filed immediately for any incident involving bodily injury (broken skin) to persons or dogs. You may also want to create a police report by calling the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office at (586)469-5151.
