The Macomb Township Recreation Center opened its doors on July 19, 2004. This state of the art 90,000 square foot facility offers 2 pools (with water slide, a lazy river and other water features), a gymnasium, aerobics room, complete workout area, running track, soft play indoor playscape, child watch room, teen room and a party room. On June 18, 2007 the Recreation Center opened its phase II expansion which includes a second gymnasium, improved and expanded workout facilities, an improved figure eight running track, an additional party room and much much more! The Recreation Center will be the hub of recreational activity for Macomb Township residents for many years to come. Computer Updates for Parks and Recreation:
In order to serve you better, the Parks and Recreation Department will be making computer updates on Wednesday (May 22) and Thursday (May 23). The Recreation Center will be open; however, online registration, membership sign-ups, birthday party sign-ups and credit card payments will not be available.

The Recreation Center is open 7 days a week:
Monday-Friday 6:00 am - 10:00 pm
Saturday 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
Sunday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Tadpole Town Child Watch
Monday - Saturday........8:30am - 1:00pm
Monday - Thursday........4:00pm - 9:00pm
RATES: Child watch is $2.00 per hour for the initial child and $1.00 per hour for each additional child.
2-hour maximum time per visit.
For your safety, you must be in 9th grade or older, have a current photo ID, and a waiver form on file in order to enter the facility without parental or legal guardian supervision. Thank you for your cooperation.
All patrons wanting to purchase a daily pass for the Macomb Township Recreation Center must fill out and sign a Daily Admission Waiver Form. This form is required in addition to showing proof of residency. Parents must fill out and sign forms for patrons under age 18. Admission to the Recreation Center WILL NOT BE allowed if a signed form is not on file. Thank you for your cooperation.
